I usually sketch with pencils, but often use a few drops of watercolour paint to make my sketches just a bit more vibrant. I often use fine-point markers for bolder lines too.
My sketches
I sketch all the time, every time. To me, it's such a great way of putting myself in the right mood before I create something on my canvas, something bigger and more serious.

I remember how many years ago I thought that sketching would be the furthest distance I could go with my art. I never thought I would be brave enough to sit in front of a big canvas, grab brushes and paint. It took me some time before I made my first step. The experience was very liberating and overwhelming at the same time.
And even though today I don't feel overwhelmed when having an empty canvas in front of me, I still have this wonderful feeling of freedom and peace when my canvases slowly fill up with different shapes and colours.
